My name is Ryan Franks. I’m 28 years old and am passionate about transforming roping athletes around the world by giving them direct access to world class coaching. I started roping calves when I was about 10 or 11 years old and since that time, I’ve been a student of the sport of calf roping. Growing up, I wanted to be a calf roper who could compete against the best in the world, and in pursuit of that, I have been able to be coached and trained by some of the very best in the world. The greatest frustration I personally found growing up, was having both desire and ability to learn, but not have a coach who was with me every step of the way. In fact, if I could have waved a magic wand, I would have wanted a coach who could have given me a step-by-step blueprint that would have cut my learning curve in half. I know thousands of ropers face that same reality, so I created Rodeo Gym with the roping athlete in mind. Rodeo Gym allows ropers around the world to be able to access the tips, tricks, and tools to becoming an elite roper and horseman.
